Post War Stories – Music & Mental Health

November 6, 2023

Way back in May we were honoured to be the centre of a very special moment in Manx music. At Noa’s newly opened bakery/brewery/music venue, Post War Stories turned it up to 10 and turned back the clock with a stunning set of new songs from the latest Album, a Revolution of Hope. Veterans now, you wouldn’t have though it as they turned into spring chickens and with new members Laura & Anna the room was soon full of sonic gratitude and love. Thanks to Paul, Ben, Anna, Laura and Martyn for being amazing and the support from Armstrong De Souza Winterborne, Overlook and Steve Nash, what a musical community we have.

This event was the template to what would become Isle Listen Live – Music in Mental Health. At Isle Listen we know the importance of art & music to the world and what an incredible tool it can be to settle the mind. The Isle Listen Live series is a 4 part series of events at Noa bakehouse over the course of the year. Which started with Nyn Giaull, featuring Boghnid, Elizabeth Blythe Davidson & Daniel Quayle and harpists Arabella Ayen & Erika Kelly on the 26th August. The next Isle Listen Live is 2nd December, tickets for Naughty in the 90’s have sold out so keep your eyes peeled for part 3.
