Supporting Vulnerable People in the Community
Overview
This short course provides those who work in the community with the knowledge, skills and toolkit needed to spot a customer or member of the public who might be vulnerable and to access signposting options to support them.
This 3.5 hour course will cover:
What makes a person vulnerable?
Biopsychosocial model
Advanced communication skills
Signposting to support
Debriefing
Confidentiality and record keeping
Managing your own wellbeing
Who should attend
Anyone with an interest in mental health and wellbeing who works with the public.
We have been awarded CPD accreditation for this course. CPD (Continuing Professional Development) represents learning activities where professionals can engage to develop and enhance their knowledge and skills. This course can be used to track your career advancement and sustain professional qualifications. We provide a certificate upon successfully completing this course so you can formally record your CPD.

£75 For a limited time, our December 2024 and February 2025 sessions are £5 to open access to all community groups. (Limit of three places per organisation)
