The Mighty Lighthouses Challenge

The fantastic support for this annual sporting event was repeated once again for this year, as hundreds of cycling enthusiasts descended upon the ancient capital to take on the Mighty Lighthouses Challenge. The weekend kicked of with the family friendly Saturday event event, with younglings in super popular the Pedal Party before the more main event got started early doors on the Sunday morning. Lycra was stretched and fancy sunglasses were polished before the masses took to the roads and sped towards the Sloc at furious, but sensible speeds.
This tremendous event raised incredible funds which help ensure our services remain free of charge to the under 25’s of our island and with the assistance of Z Zurich Foundation, matching every penny. Big thanks to Peel group for the kind donation of the fabulous Cube E-Bike that spear headed the prize draw, Cycle 360 and the events new partner- DotPerformace.
